My second can design was focused more on the hop leaf, when researching Carlsberg I knew that they recently did a redesign that was based around the hop design to help consumers better navigate the range as Carlsberg sets its sights on the premium market. Carlsberg’s hop leaf symbol has been present for more than 100 of 168-year history so I thought to play around with this aspect of the design to differentiate from other brands out there.
