As I needed focus my idea down so that I do not overcomplicate it I decided to research futher into Jamie Reid where i found out that Reid said in an interview once that ‘the challenge to the modern artist is not to create, but to use what has already been created… you have to widen your field of awareness so you can see what is not being done and what could be done with these creations’. In this sense Reid is suggesting that appropriation is good if you are going to create something that is better with the current material.
